I finally got a chance to visit Yunomori Onsen & Spa, after hearing about all the positive reviews which they had. Many thanks to Yunamori Onsen & Spa's invitation for the launching of their yuzu onsen bath. This bath will be available for a limited time only so you gotta come quick before the promotion ends.

Started in early 18^th century, this is an authentic experience practiced by the Japanese on the winter solstice day. I will share the benefits of the spa in a bit, but let us first admire the peaceful zen surroundings.

I love the cozy, relaxing feel of the Yunomori Onsen surroundings which makes one feel calm and peaceful when stepping in.

The soft lighting and tranquil feeling also adds to the overall calmness of my mind as I looked around. It is a real pity that I was unable to look at the interior and experience the spa for myself though, as the group of us decided that it was inconvenient for us to try out the spa on the very day.

Coming back to the Yuzu Onsen Spa, other that warding off winter colds and the common flu, you will see that your skin becomes smoother, more radiant and moisturised. The oil from the yuzu stimulates the circulatory and digestive systems. Containing citrus acids and vitamin C, the onsen will also help to heal chapped skin as well.
For those busy Singaporeans who work long hours, the bath will alleviate body aches and back pains as well as improve blood circulation. It is a good way to relax your body under a good spa and have some girlfriend time together.

I would not be able to comment about the above information as I had never experienced their spa before nor tour their internal facilities within the onsen spa. You would need to change into their robe before you can tour the internal facilities as most of them would also be dressed in the Yukata provided. I hope that when I am able to try out, I'll be able to provide you to an honest review when the time comes.

We were however, treated to a table of Yuzu inspired dishes.

I love how refreshing the soda is. This drink is perfect for those who have love something sweet and sourish.

Yummy Udon dipped in the bowl of sauce that was given to everyone. Its my first time taking cold udon, despite it being cold the udon was delicious when dipped into the bowl of sauce.

These plate of assorted items had an interesting mix of taste. The chicken was a little tough for our liking but overall the plate had a good variety.

Crispy chicken karaage would never go wrong with anyone. Love its crispness going with the Japanese curry which is suitable even for people who can't take spicy food.

Tangy and slightly on the sourish side, it is perfect to end off your dishes with the sorbet to wash off the different taste you have in your mouth.
