Diary Post: Good Bye November, Welcome December

Hey Dears!
So its December already? Just some quick updates as I am still running a fever of 37ish as I type.

Last Friday was Black Friday! My Facebook was spam with so many things to buy but the sickly me was just to sick to do anything. Maybe it is a good thing also, to take a break from everything. Anyways, just wanna share that there are some great Korean face products on offer as well, such as from Skinfood Singapore. Black Monday is still on Zalora, so I hope you'll find something you want anyway. The Gummy Bear hand cream is just so cute, maybe it'll make a Christmas gift?

Other than that, I am also working on my Melbourne Trip experience, so I'll be sharing with you some nice things that you can do in Melbourne if you are planning a trip there. Typically, the Australians wake up early and ends their business hours early there as well. But you still can find some nice restaurants and yes the supermarket will only close around 9-10pm.

I am currently trying 2 face products courtesy of Cellinique, a skincare brand from Malaysia.I am feeling positive about the experience with lesser black and white heads on my T-Zone.I am using 2 products from them on top of my regular face care. Last week was fun (the day before I fell ill), attending Forever 21 Event with Cynthia! I am sure most of you have seen my posting in instagram. We got some great tips on fashion styling and won ourselves some vouchers. Yay! Its time to go shopping soon.

Before that I went for the Vagheggi Emozioni Calming Facial at Bejeweled Singapore. They are running a promotion now, so quote my name "Pearly Tan" and get the facial at $38 instead of the usual price. My skin is not cracking anymore now so i am really grateful to have done this facial.

The past month had been exciting, but I am also looking forward to the activities and product trials coming up in the month of December. December will be an exciting month of Yoga (Bliss Out), trying out new services at Bejeweled Singapore as well as many other new products. I'll update ya all again!

Food Review: Krazy Salad Singapore

Slightly spicy but decently grilled, doesn't have too much vein and not hard to chew, comes along with the chips.

Firecracker Lamb Rack Chop served with butter rice - $32.90
This dish was one of our favorites! No queer lamb smells, tender and juicy! I enjoyed it.

Seafood in a skillet - $25.90
A dish that all kids would love as they are battered and fried to a crisp! Great for munching.

Oriental Pork Chop - $22.90

Wrap the pork chop with the slice of lettuce and place the kimchi in it. Finally, dip it into the chilli and eat it the Korean way! Interesting infusion and refreshing way of eating a regular pork chop.

Pan-seared Duck Breast - $24.90

This is another dish that was cleared relatively fast by the table. We loved how tender the duck meat tasted and because the duck meat was already sliced, it makes it easy for sharing.

Terriyaki Cheese Steak $24.90

We ordered a medium rare steak. It was juicy and not too grainy!

6. Don't forget to try out the soup of the day! There are usually 3 available for selection.
Go easy, grab a cup and share the calories.

7. Indulge in good food at affordable, pocket friendly prices and bond with your friends or loved ones like we did over this food tasting session.

8. There's always room for dessert! Make your own soft serve and enjoy it the way you like it! Be it in a cone or in a cup! Take your pick.

Do you feel inconvenient when you are out of data or worse still burst your data plans just because you have to use it while traveling overseas? Fret not, because I have the ultimate solution for you. I am one such person who will switch off my mobile data whenever I had to travel overseas and so I rely heavily on free WIFI. However, times have changed! Diary: October date with girlfriend

Welcome to November! Its already the 3rd day. In less than 2 months time, we will be welcoming Christmas and soon the new year. I hope everything has been going on well for you.

Just some short updates of what happened over the weekend. I had the opportunity to meet up with my friend Tracy and we turned ourselves into a one day tourist. Singapore can be quite a fun place, especially if you do not need to spend a penny. Well, not really, time is money and there's one thing which is never free, transport.

Its not our first time at the Singapore flyer, but it was the first time which both of us took the flyer together.

Singapore flyer is lacking lustre few years since its existence. It is no longer a tourist hot spot or fun sight-seeing place to be spotted. What a pity! They should innovate and improvise, have themes and organize events around it to make it a happening place again.

While we were there, we spotted a wedding dinner on the capsule before us and later 1 lady in her graduation gown.

We also took time to attend the G2000 25th anniversary, Celebrate a new vision with you fashion showcase.

There were many outfits on display and mostly corporate.

This looks like what I wore for my very first job interview. A decent jacket which you can use in the office.

This looks like something I would wear for my upcoming Melbourne trip! I heard that it is cooling this time of the year, so I shall wear a trench coat.

Participants who were finalist to the couple G2000 fashion contest.

Maybeline and James, also shared tips on how to colour block, layer and dress up with G2000 pieces. I love their outfit.

The host gave great tips for wearing coats in the office and when out at place, mostly making use of the available fashion pieces from the G2000's latest collection.

We managed to find time to drop by the library at Orchard as well. This is located at level 3 of the Orchard Gateway.

We kind of love how this place looks like and the architectures that were there. Who would have realized that a library can be so beautiful?

I foresee that soon this place will be one where wedding couples head over to take their wedding photography.

Or perhaps, a free tourist attraction where tourist can pop by for photo taking opportunities?

Lastly, we pop by the Lush outlet to take a look at a live demonstration of them making the "Don't look at me" mask. They were made of ingredients such as ground rice, lemon, tofu and many others.

We managed to get some of these mask samples for ourselves as well. Will put them to use soon.

So that marks an incredible day out and a well spent weekend. How did you spend yours?

Beauty Review: Bejeweled Singapore Facial

Every woman deserves a good face pampering session at least once in a while. I was blessed with the opportunity to be able to try out the facial service at Bejeweled Singapore.

I was invited at their 2nd outlet located in BreadTalk's HQ. This outlet is currently in its 3rd month. The outlet offers you services such as facials, hair removal services and nail services. It is so convenient as you get to do all these services at just one location. Such one-stop shop services are becoming more and more common these days.

The first impression which the place gives me was a well-lit, cozy and comfortable place. They have plenty of spaces that cater to their nail customers as well as 2 facial rooms that allow customers to have their facial done.

Product showcase of the items that I came to know were used for the facials.

Most of the facial services are done with products from Vagheggi, which I found out was an Italian brand. The products are very gentle for a sensitive user like me. You don't have to worry too much as they have different products to cater for different skin types and different facial services.

I was asked to fill up this form where I filled in my particulars and indicated my skin conditions and concerns. This is so important because the beautician needs to know all these information before they proceed with recommending the most suitable facial for you.

I was then led into one of the facial rooms where I changed out and get ready to have my face pampered. The room was decently spaced such that you have walking space and it was not too cramp. The beautician also provided me with a basket where I could place my bag in. Unfortunately, my bag was too big for the basket.

I did not take any photographs of myself when doing the facial as it is quite inconvenient for the beautician and not nice for myself to interrupt her.

About Vagheggi Emozioni Calming Facial:
This is a 75 min facial which is suitable and recommended for sensitive and irritated skin people like me.
It is a specific treatment for reactive and intolerant skin with reduced defenses and tolerability levels. It consist of a mask, a face massage, shoulder massage, serum and ampoule.

The facial cost $168

As with all facial, the beautician will remove your make-up for you and cleanse your face before the facial treatment. Most beauty salon uses sponge, but I notice that here they use facial cottons to cleanse your face. There was also no steaming of face done when the pimple extraction took place. My eyebrows was then touched up using only the plucking method which I prefer over the shaving method which most of the beauty salon is now using.

The beautician that tend to me was friendly throughout and had good skills. She knew what she was doing, so my face felt safe in her hands. I fell asleep soon after the mask was placed on my face along with the relaxing massage she had done earlier on.

I was very intrigued and relaxed when she used these 2 "cooling balls" to calm my face after the ampoule was applied on my face. It feel really cooling and relaxing. Some beauty salon that I came across made use of electronic waves to kill bacterial after the pimple extraction, over here, they made use of these to calm my slightly red face.

Just take a look at my before and after face, both without any make-up on. I felt instantly relaxed and refreshed. I was glad my skin eczema on my right cheeks did not flare up after the facial. I love this facial and its calming effects. I am looking more radiant and my skin looks brighter even days after the facial was done.
